ERW pipes and tubes are used in various engineering purposes, fencing, scaffolding, line pipes etc. ERW pipes and tube are available in various qualities, wall thicknesses, and diameters of the finished ERW pipes.
Advantages
As only the edges are heated, the tube possesses dean accurate surface.
Applications:
1. Electric resistance welding can make tubes in sizes up tp 0.4 metre diameter.
2. Tubes can also be made from steels having around 0.3% carbon.
Major factor is economy and especially in low pressure application.

Agriculture & irrigation ( Water mains, sewerage systems, industrial water lines, plant piping, deep tube-wells & casing ERW pipes)
Gas pipe lines (Pipe lines for natural gas)
LPG and other non-toxic gas
The SW is meant for shallow water applications in a canal, natural stream, culvert, or ERW pipes
